Breach Services Include:
National ID Recovery takes
breaches seriously. Your members are at risk as
well as your credit union, and NIDR is on the spot to
take action and minimize any damage. Should a breach
occur at your credit union, the following are the steps
NIDR will implement |
Notification Letter
Assist the Credit Union in preparing the content of the Breach
Notification letter.
Upon final approval by the Credit Union and Data File transfer
of Breached member information to NIDR by the Credit Union, NIDR
will:
Provide for printing, envelope stuffing/sealing, and mailing of
Notification letters for all Credit Union Breach members.
The printing through mailing process will be completed within
not more than 7 days from NIDR’s delivery of the Notification
letter and member data file to the printer.
Notification letters will be mailed via first class mail.
NIDR will report to the Credit Union the details of the
printing/mailing of the Notification letters. |

...And One Step Further:
To insure each and every member
is taken care of and to make sure your credit union is
only involved in the day to day operations of operating
the institution, NIDR will set up a dedicated Toll-Free
Number which will be given to all affected members.

Dedicated Toll-Free Number
NIDR will provide the Credit Union with
a dedicated toll-free telephone number that will be utilized in
serving the breached Customers.
The Toll-Free number will be manned by certified paralegal
advocates from 8a.m through 9p.m. Monday through Friday.
NIDR will provide additional paralegal staff in order to provide
call coverage to the Company’s breached members.
NIDR will report to the Credit Union the details of call volume
by category at least monthly or as agreed upon between the
Credit Union and NIDR.
Call report contents will be as agreed upon by the Credit Union
and NIDR. NIDR will not provide NPPI or PHI in any report.
